The total Live Scan fee also know as the “Rolling Fee” is the Fingerprint Service Provider “Rolling Fee” plus any related government processing fees that are required on your “Request for Live Scan Service” form. Call (888) 417-0203 for live scan fingerprinting availability!

Rolling Fees

Our rolling fee (before standard government agency fees) is the following:

AMERITEK ID Rolling Fee  $25
AMERITEK ID Resubmission Fee  $0

Government Fees

In addition to the rolling fee, there may be government agency fees related to your live scan request. Please confirm your government fees with the appropriate licensing board or employer prior to entering one of our centers. For your benefit, we have listed some of the general government fees below:

DOJ (California Department of Justice)  $32
FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation)  $17
FBI (For non-profit Volunteers)  $15
CHI (Child Abuse Index)  $ 15
DSS (Department of Social Services)  $10
Firearms (Firearms Permit)  $38
Visa/Immigration  $32
Personal Criminal Record Review (*Includes Rolling Fee) $50*

Billing Number – If your referring agency has provided you with a billing number Sacramento fees will not be collected.

At the top of your Request for Live Scan Service form issued to you by your referring agency is an ORI Code. The ORI Code determines the Level of Service (Sacramento Fees) you will require for your background check.

What You’ll Need

To properly prepare for your upcoming Live Scan appointment, you will need the following:

  • General – Live Scan form provided by your employer or licensing board (3 completed copies)
  • Social Security Number
  • DOJ Approved Photo ID

In order to receive Live Scan service you must present a valid photo ID to the Live Scan technician. The following are DOJ approved forms of photo identification:

  • Passport
  • California Driver’s License
  • California DMV ID Card
  • Out-of-state Driver’s License
  • Alien Registration / Immigration Green Card
  • Military ID Card
  • Mexican Consulate ID Card (Matricula Consular de Alta Seguridad)
